Lingering Showers Today; Colder Overnight

A line of rain and storms raced through the area this morning, but its now on its way into Georgia. A light to moderate rain continues this afternoon, but starts to taper off this evening. Temperatures fall during the afternoon and through tonight. Lows fall into the 30s by early Wednesday morning. Wednesday features plenty of sun with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Wednesday night turns cold again with lows in the mid 30s.

We’ll see more clouds in the sky Thursday, but there should still be a decent amount of sunshine. Highs warm into the upper 60s to near 70°. A brief spotty shower is possible, but the overall chance for rain is low.

Scattered showers are possible on Friday through the weekend, but it doesn’t look like a total washout. Temperatures should be quite mild, with highs in the 60s to low 70s. Another round of rain is possible early next week. Models are quite inconsistent with temperatures, but for now forecast highs are in the 60s Monday and Tuesday.
