OAKLAND, CA— Former Alabama star Gerald Wallace has been traded to the NBA champion Golden State Warriors.

Wallace, who turns 33 later this month, was limited to just 32 games by a knee injury last season. The Childersburg native has averaged 11.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game in his 13-year NBA career with Sacramento, Charlotte, Portland, New Jersey/Brooklyn and Boston.

Wallace has not averaged in double figures scoring since 2012, and averaged just 1.1 points per game last season. He is due to earn $10.1 million in the final year of his contract in 2015-16.
