Normandale Community Works to Revitalize the Community
The Normandale community is working to revitalize the neighborhood with a city-wide yard sale and prayer event.Â
The normandale neighborhood association hosted the event.
It began at eight this morning with a community prayer.
A city-wide yard sale was held after the prayer,with about 70 different vendors with items for sale.
There was live music and inflatables for kids and families to enjoy.
President of the Normandale Neighborhood Associate,Elva Harris hopes events like this can bring unity to the community.
Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange was also there for the event, which also worked to spark interest in the mayoral and city council elections that take place August 25th.
