A Dekalb County Woman is Dead After Fatal Car Crash

A woman from Dekalb County is dead after a fatal car crash.
71- year-old Mary Lee Campbell died in the head-on collision just after 5:30 this morning.
It happened at the 95 mile marker on U-S Highway 231 near Peake Road, that’s in Montgomery County.
State troopers says Campbell wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from her car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to Baptist Medical Center South.
Troopers are still investigating the crash.
