What’s Happening: October 6-8
There’s plenty to do this weekend in the River Region, but it all starts with the Alabama National Fair!
The 70th annual fair is back at Garrett Coliseum from Friday, Oct.6 through Sunday, Oct. 15. There are rides, food, concerts, competitions and don’t forget the American Idol contest to see who’ll get the chance to audition before the show’s producers.
It’s homecoming at ASU, with the Hornets taking on Bethune Cookman and plenty of other activities.
A college culture show is happening at Riverwalk Amphitheatre, the International Day of the Girl is being celebrated, there’s a Women in Training 5K run/walk, and if all of that isn’t enough, don’t miss out on the Sleepy Hollow haunted farm in Auburn.
