ACTION 8 UPDATE: $1,000 reward offered to solve Montgomery murder

A $1,000 reward is being offered in the hopes of solving a man’s shooting death that happened this summer.

As Action 8 News has reported, police say 27-year-old Fernando Edwards of Montgomery was shot the night of Sunday, July 23, in the 600 block of North Pass Road. That is just off Alabama River Parkway outside of the Northern Boulevard.

No other details have been made available.

Investigators ask anyone who may have seen something or know something to please come forward.

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information that leads to the identification of the shooter.
