3 Degree Guarantee: Medical Outreach Ministries gets $1,450 check
We are happy to give away another 3 Degree Guarantee check to a local charity.
The Johnny Adams Law Firm and WAKA Action 8 News are giving a check to Medical Outreach Ministries.
We are presenting a check for $1,450, which is what we raised in October for getting Montgomery’s high temperature correct in our weather forecasts, within three degrees.
Medical Outreach Ministries is a non-profit that helps provide free primary and specialty health care for people who can’t afford insurance in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties.
“One of the big things we do at Medical Outreach is provide all of our patients medications, and so one of our big expenses is always medication. So we’ll be able to provide lots of medication for many of our patients with this funding,” Molly Stone, the executive director of Medical Outreach Ministries said.
“It’s a privilege and an honor, really, to work with this organization and with WAKA-TV to support this non-profit organization. They provide a vital service here in Montgomery — free medical care and also medicines. So it’s a great program they have and it’s really a privilege to support them in this venture,” Johnny Adams said.

The money grows during the month, to produce a big check that we give to charities right here in our area.
