ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police make arrest in shooting

ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police have made an arrest in a shooting that left a man seriously hurt.

Maj. Saba Coleman of the Montgomery Police Department said that officers have arrested 27-year-old Jadarius Russell and have charged him with first-degree assault.

As Action 8 News has reported, officers were called to the 4000 block of Williams Road at about 4:30 Tuesday afternoon. That’s where they found the man with what she described as a life-threatening gunshot wound.

He was taken to a hospital.
