Montgomery man killed in New Year’s Eve crash
A Montgomery man has been killed in a two-vehicle wreck on New Year’s Eve.
Alabama State Troopers say 26-year-old Morgan Jarrett was driving a minivan that hit an SUV head-on. They say Jarrett was not using a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV, 28-year-old Justice Woods of Huntsville, was injured and taken to Baptist Medical Center South for treatment.
The crash happened on Wares Ferry Road near Dozier Road at about 2:20AM.
