An adult and a juvenile are dead after weekend shootings in Montgomery
Weekend shootings in Montgomery have claimed the lives of one man and a boy who is under the age of 18. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is trying to figure out what happened to a man who was killed Saturday. Deputies responded to a report of a shooting on Riverside Road – which is located just off of Wares Ferry Road – in Montgomery County. When they arrived, they found 34-year-old Dewane Wooten. He was later pronounced dead.
On Sunday around 2:30pm, officers with the Montgomery Police Department were called to a local hospital regarding a gunshot victim. When they arrived, they found a juvenile male who had been fatally shot. It was determined that the shooting happened in the 2400 block of Meadow Ridge Lane.
