Alabama’s Mark Sears earns postseason acolades

Alabama’s Mark Sears has racked up the postseason accolades including being named to the 2024 Sporting News All-American second team and to the Associated Press’s first-team All-SEC.
Sears is now the third player from the University of Alabama to earn All-American Honors from Sporting News during the Nate Oats era. The other two members of the Crimson Tide to earn the honors include Brandon Miller (second-team, 2023) and Herbert Jones (third-team, 2021.) Sears also becomes the fourth Alabama player during the Oats era to earn Associated Press All-SEC honors joining Miller (AP First Team, 2023), Jones (First Team, 2021) and Kira Lewis Jr. (AP First Team, 2020.)
