Safe from the Storm: 2024 Hurricane Season Outlook
Why has the National Hurricane Center forecasted an especially busy 2024 season?
It says we could see 17-25 named storms, 8-13 hurricanes, and 4-7 major hurricanes by the end of November. That’s the highest number of named storms in any NOAA preseason forecast.
Hurricane season starts June 1.
