Man arrested after chase ends on Bell Road in Montgomery

A man faces several charges after Alabama State Troopers say he led him on a chase from Interstate 85 onto Bell Road.

Investigators say it began around 1PM Saturday as a state trooper was patrolling Interstate 85 near Exit 16 (Waugh/Pike Road exit). The state trooper tried to pull over the driver of a car for speeding, but the driver did not stop. Investigators say the driver led the state trooper on a chase that went onto Bell Road before it ended near the Exchange Street intersection, not far from Troy Highway.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the driver, identified as 26-year-old Ladarrion Johnson of Atmore was arrested and charged with felony attempting to elude, reckless endangerment as well as multiple traffic violations.
