State Sen. Robert Stewart kicks off summer listening tour in Selma
From the West Alabama Newsroom–
Senate District 23 — consists of eight Alabama counties. And Senator Rob Stewart is planning to visit each one of them over the summer — starting in Dallas County.
Stewart is about to embark on a two-month listening tour across the state’s largest legislative district.
He says the purpose is to hear the concerns of the people he represents — and to provide them with legislative updates.
“Constituents will be able to hear from government agencies as well, such as the Alabama Department of Environmental Management, to get updates on projects, particularly water and sewage projects,” said Stewart.
“We’ll have a report from ADECA that will lay out the broadband advancement plans as well and how we’re ensuring that our constituents gain more access to broadband.”
Dallas, Lowndes, Perry, Wilcox, Clarke, Conecuh, Butler and Monroe counties make up Senate District 23.
