3 Degree Guarantee: Unique Achievers gets $1,300 check
We are handing out another 3 Degree Guarantee check to a local charity.
The Johnny Adams Law Firm and Action 8 News are giving a check to Unique Achievers.
We are presenting a check for $1,300, which is what we raised in May for getting Montgomery’s high temperature correct in our weather forecasts, within three degrees.
Unique Achievers is a non-profit that strives to make the community better. Its president says the money will be used for the group’s upcoming back-to-school drive.
“As you know, school just got out, but August is right around the corner,” Unique Achievers President Tamicca Rodgers said. “So, we’ll use it in buying school supplies and uniforms.”
“We’re happy to be a part of this program with WAKA and especially with Unique Achievers,” Johnny Adams of the Johnny Adams Law Firm said. “They’ve been in operation for over 10 years and they’re a small organization but they make a big difference in Bullock County. They help people when families lose loved ones. They even help children.”
The Johnny Adams Law Firm and Action 8 News each chip in $25 every day that our weather team gets Montgomery’s high temperature forecast right, within three degrees.
The money grows during the month, to produce a big check that we give to charities right here in our area.
