Montgomery Police investigating Monday night shooting death
27 year old Darius Gunn, of Montgomery was pronounced dead on the scene.
Montgomery police have opened a homicide investigation after a man was found shot to death Monday night.
A spokesperson for MPD says on Monday, June 17, 2024, at about 11:57 p.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded to the 1000 block of Eastern Boulevard in reference to a subject shot. That location is between Monticello Drive and East Shirley Lane.

There is no additional information available for release in connection to this continuing investigation.
There are 33 homicides recorded in Montgomery so far this year, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
