Second fatal shooting in same Montgomery neighborhood on same day
Montgomery police are investigating a second fatal shooting in the Carriage Hills neighborhood.
Montgomery police Maj. Saba Coleman told Action 8 News the latest shooting happened at around 8:03PM Tuesday night. Police were called to the 2500 block of Bridle Path Lane. That’s where Coleman said they found a man with a fatal gunshot wound.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Lamarcus McCall of Montgomery.
Earlier on Tuesday, there was a shooting not far away that left one person dead and another injured.
Police say that shooting happened at about 12:35AM in the 3200 block of Covered Bridge Road. Police say 20-year-old Kavone Mosquera was found with a fatal gunshot wound. They say a man was also discovered with what is believed to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police are conduction a homicide and assault investigation in that case.
