Life of Montgomery police officer Carlos Taylor remembered with unique tribute
The life of Montgomery police officer Carlos Taylor is being remembered as part of a national bus tour.
Taylor died last summer after being severely injured in an on-duty wreck in 2017.
Sunday, a group called Beyond the Call of Duty brought its End of Watch Ride bus tour to Montgomery police headquarters to honor Taylor.
The group is on a 73-day tour to cities nationwide to pay tribute to officers like Taylor, who died in service to their community.
Taylor was a 2016 graduate of the Montgomery Police Academy. In February 2017, Officer Taylor was critically injured in a crash, suffering a brain injury.
