ACTION 8 UPDATE: Police identify pedestrian struck, killed by 18-wheeler in Montgomery

ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police have identified the pedestrian who was struck and killed by an 18-wheeler in Montgomery.

Police say that 32-year-old Lavaris Rawlinson of Montgomery was was hit at around 7:14 Monday morning on West South Boulevard at the I-65 southbound off ramp. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the driver fled the area prior to their arrival. 

No other information has been released.
