Two people have been arrested after a police chase from Prattville to Montgomery.

Prattville police say on Tuesday at about 8:45PM, they stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of North Memorial Drive that they say was involved in a breaking & entering and theft case from October 2.

Police say the driver, 29-year-old Joequisha Marshall of Lowndesboro, got out and went into a business, while the passenger, 20-year-old  James Cain, Jr., of Montgomery, moved to the driver side seat and drove off.

After the wreck, police say Cain threw a gun from the vehicle and was arrested. Police say the gun had been reported stolen in Elmore County.

Cain was booked into the Autauga Metro Jail on charges of felony attempting to elude law enforcement, unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property in the third degree. The bonds for all charges total $55,000.

Marshall was booked into the Autauga Metro Jail on charges of failure to obey law enforcement and resisting arrest with bonds
totaling $1,000.
