Pickleball tournament raises money for free medical clinic
Pickleball teams from around the River Region headed to Millbrook Saturday to raise money for a good cause.
Medical Outreach Ministries in Montgomery held its inaugural Paddles for Patients pickleball tournament at 17 Springs. The free clinic provides medical care for adults without health insurance.
Players of all skill levels enjoyed a day of fun and friendly competition, while helping those in need.
“This tournament is more than just a game—it’s an opportunity for the community to come together, have fun, and make a real impact,” said Molly Stone, Executive Director. “The funds raised from this event will support the work of physicians, nurses, and other health professionals who volunteer their time to treat the patients served by Medical Outreach Ministries’ clinic. We encourage everyone to sign up and enjoy a day of friendly competition.”
Nearly 50 players participated in the tournament.
