First United Church Hosts “Blessings of the Pets”
While many head to church on Sunday, the animals were not forgotten today. First United Methodist Church hosted “Blessing of the Pets” in Cloverdale.
The event was open to the community.
All were invited to attend the celebration through scripture, prayer and individual blessings for pets.
Refreshments and treats were available for the pets. It’s an event to show extra attention for the animals.
Donations of dry animal food were also collected at the event for the Montgomery Humane Society.
