Scattered storms Friday, Saturday; Drier Sunday, early next week
Showers and storms were already scattered around our area prior to midday Friday. Storms remain scattered about through the afternoon. Thanks to the fairly widespread nature of rain so far, afternoon temperatures may remain in the 70s and 80s in most locations. However, since showers and storms got off to an early start, Friday evening may trend mainly dry fairly early. Friday night eventually becomes mainly dry and partly cloudy with lows in the low to mid 70s.
Showers and storms become scattered again Saturday afternoon. Meanwhile, Saturday looks a bit hotter, with high temperatures in the low 90s. Rain fades away Friday night, and Sunday morning looks rather sunny and dry. In fact, Sunday afternoon may remain drier and sunnier as shower and storm coverage looks isolated. Plus, Sunday could be hotter with high temperatures potentially in the mid 90s.
Mid-90° afternoon heat looks common next week, with high temperatures ranging from 94-96° Monday through Friday. Rain coverage looks low Monday and Tuesday. However, showers and storms look scattered Wednesday through Friday afternoon. Next weekend’s weather looks similar, with high temperatures in the mid 90s and scattered afternoon storms.
