Alabama running back Jam Miller may miss multiple games after sustaining an injury.

“Jam Miller suffered an upper-body injury in Saturday’s scrimmage and went in for a procedure on Saturday evening,” DeBoer said in a statement released by the university on Sunday. “Jam should recover fully with a timetable for his return yet to be determined.”

With Miller potentially sidelined, Alabama will likely turn to redshirt sophomore Richard Young and sophomore Daniel Hill to carry the load in the backfield. The duo combined for just 48 carries last season, while Miller led the running back room with nearly 700 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Crimson Tide has not provided a specific timeline for Miller’s return, leaving questions about the team’s depth at the position heading into the upcoming game.
