Mainly dry through Friday, rain possible before fall starts next week
Our mainly dry and warm September weather pattern rolls on Wednesday across central and south Alabama. After morning low temperatures fell to near 60°, temperatures were back up to around 90° by noon. Temperatures likely remain in the low 90s Wednesday afternoon, with a partly to mostly sunny sky. Wednesday night looks mostly clear and mild with low temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
Thursday and Friday look mainly dry with a partly to mostly sunny sky, and high temperatures in the low 90s. Temperatures likely fall into the 60s each night. Finally, isolated showers or storms appear possible this weekend. Although, in summertime fashion, many locations may remain dry each day. Daily chances for rain continue next week, with isolated to widely scattered showers and storms as Fall officially begins Monday.
