Pike Road Arts and Crafts Fair Draws Hundreds for 59th Year
PIKE ROAD, Ala. (WAKA) — A long-standing Montgomery County tradition drew crowds once again Saturday as the Town of Pike Road hosted its 59th annual Arts and Crafts Fair.
Hundreds of visitors came out to shop and enjoy the crisp fall weather while browsing more than 180 booths filled with handmade art, unique clothing, candles, home décor and other goods.
Families sampled local food and sweets, while children played yard games, had their faces painted and met animals at the petting zoo. Organizers said the event is designed to bring the community together and offer something for everyone.
Adding to the holiday spirit, Santa and Mrs. Claus made a surprise appearance to greet families and take photos.
