Police investigate stabbing near former Montgomery Mall
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) — A man was critically injured in a stabbing early Sunday morning in Montgomery, police said.
Officers responded just after 5 a.m. to the 3500 block of McGehee Place Drive South, across the street from LAMP High School and the former Montgomery Mall. When officers arrived, they found an unidentified man suffering from a life-threatening stab wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His condition has not been released.
Police have not released any information about a suspect or a possible motive. The investigation is ongoing.
