Two people injured in shooting on Rosa Parks Avenue in Montgomery
Montgomery police are investigating a shooting on Rosa Parks Avenue that left two people injured, one seriously.
Montgomery police Cpl. James Dozier told Action 8 News that at about 9PM last night, officers were on routine patrol in the area of the 4100 block of Rosa Parks Avenue when they found a man with several life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
That location is between West Patton Avenue and West South Boulevard.
About two minutes later, officers also responded to a hospital where a woman had arrived with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Dozier said it was determined the woman was also a victim of the same shooting.
He says a suspect has been taken into custody. No names have been released.
