Demopolis woman one of two people killed in Greene County crash

A Demopolis woman was one of two people killed in a two-vehicle crash in Greene County.

Alabama State Troopers say 61-year-old Willie Smith of York was driving a car that hit a small SUV driven by 19-year-old Kaydence Clark of Demopolis.

Investigators says Smith wasn’t using a seat belt and died at the scene. Clark was taken to Whitfield Memorial Hospital for treatment where she died.

The crash happened at around 7:30PM on Friday, January 9, on U.S. Highway 43 near Choctaw Road, about four miles south of Eutaw.
