CAMPAIGN 2026: Friday, January 23 is the deadline for candidates to qualify for the Democratic and Republican primaries.

The deadline is at 5PM. These lists may be updated after that time with last-minute qualifiers.

Alabama’s primaries are May 19. This year’s races include all state constitutional officers, all members of the Alabama Legislature, all seven seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, a U.S. Senate race and races for various judgeships and other offices, including at the county level.
