What’s Happening: January 30-February 1
Don’t let the cold weather keep you cooped up at home. There’s still a lot to do across the River Region this weekend!
Unfortunately, the cold temperatures have caused the Prattville Mardi Gras parade to be postponed from this weekend until February 14.
But while you’re waiting to celebrate Mardi Gras, you can take your children to learn how to make a Mexican food treat.
It’s also the opening of the Lehman Trilogy at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, a show with a Montgomery connection.
Messiah Lutheran Church is holding a free chili cookoff, perfect for chilly weather.
A new art exhibit opens in Pike Road.
And music is in the air at the Sanctuary Showcase.
Speaking of music, if you do want to stay snuggled up indoors, be sure to catch The Grammys on Action 8 Sunday night!
