Two people injured, suspects arrested after Montgomery shooting
Montgomery police are investigating after two people were shot Tuesday evening.
MPD says officers responded to Upper Wetumpka Road at North Maryland Street around 6:10p.m. on Tuesday in reference to a person shot.
Officers made contact with a woman who had non-life threatening injuries after getting shot. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.
MPD determined the shooting happened in the 200 block of Gardendale Drive.
Later, a second person showed up at the hospital with non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
Officers were able to locate potential suspects in the 1200 block of Coliseum Boulevard.
MPD says charges are pending.
No word yet on the identity of the victims or suspects at this time.
