Uniontown Police Department launches new website
The Uniontown Police Department has rolled out a brand new website.
The website is designed to keep the community in the know about what is happening at the police department.
Police Chief Michael Kiser tells Action 8 News that the website is a way to make the police department more transparent and they hope it will increase community involvement.
The website features a place for people to share their concerns and to submit tips about unsolved crimes.
Chief Kiser says the goal is to help improve public safety in the city and provide an easier way for people to say something if they see something.
Chief Kiser also tells Action 8 News that he is planning to host monthly town hall meetings.
