SAV-A-LIFE Troy Expands with New Program
SAV-A-LIFE Troy has been serving Pike County for 30 years, now they are expanding their program to meet the needs of individuals.
The center currently offers several classes with pregnancy resources for groups. But with their Family Life Enrichment and Education Cooperative Program, the program allows coordinators to communicate with clients individually for their needs during different stages of pregnancy. It also servers as an outlet for resume building, resume writing and interviewing techniques. While current classes are scheduled at SAV-A-LIFE, the new program is at each client’s convenience.
“They’re going to have more one on one personalized classes so they are going to be able to talk to you more and see what your needs are for your children or your family. I think it would be a good thing,” says Cassy Smith.
