3 injured in 3 separate Montgomery overnight shootings
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police say three more people have been injured in three separate overnight shootings.
The first happened around 10:50 p.m. Saturday in the 3700 block of Norman Bridge Road.
Once police and fire medics arrived, they found an adult male with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
About three minutes later, police and fire medics responded to the area of I-85 and Taylor Road regarding a person shot.
Once they arrived, they located an adult male with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was taken by personal vehicle to an area hospital for treatment. Police have not said where the original shooting occurred.
Then around 5:10 a.m. Sunday, police and fire medics responded to the 4500 block of South Court Street on a person shot.
Once they arrived, they found an adult male with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
These incidents are just three of five separate incidents that have occurred since Friday evening.
The first one happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday on Simmons Drive. Police say a man and a woman were killed in an apparent murder-suicide.
The next one happened around 7:10 p.m. Saturday in the area of Don Juan Court and Garden Street. Two men were taken to a local hospital with n0n-life threatening injuries were gunshot wounds.
