Suspect arrested in Tuskegee fatal shooting

TUSKEGEE, Ala. (WAKA) – Tuskegee police have arrested a man in the city’s latest homicide.

Chief Gary Hicks tells Action 8 News that it happened Thursday in the 300 block of East Martin Luther King Highway.

Once officers arrived, they found Kendorian Brooks, of Auburn, dead from a gunshot wound.

The suspect, Kenneth Harris, of Tuskegee, was later taken into custody after he voluntarily surrendered to law enforcement.

The case remains under investigation.
