ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police launch homicide investigation after shooting victim dies

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have launched a homicide investigation following the death of a man who had been shot in April.

Police say 25-year-old Ladarius Wiley of Montgomery died yesterday at a hospital. He was the 20th homicide victim of the year in Montgomery.

Police say on Saturday, April 11, at about 7:45PM, they were called to the 4000 block of Rosa L Parks Avenue. That’s where they found Wiley, who had suffered a gunshot wound.
