Local Church Helps With Crisis in Flint

Lead Pipes have polluted water across Flint, Michigan. One church group in Montgomery is doing it’s part in hopes to make a difference for people without clean water.
Southside Church of Christ is collecting several cases of water. For church members the biggest motivation for collecting water was seeing the faces and conditions of the children living in Flint. Not only is the church using this as a time to help the youth up north, but also here at home. They’re also hoping the children of the church will take this experience to put life into perspective.
Southside’s goal is to fill an 18 wheeler with water to send to those in Michigan, but they cant do it alone! If you would like to help South Side Church of Christ go to the church Monday-Friday 8:00 A.M.- 4:00 P.M.
