SEC Media Days: New Auburn coach Alex Golesh brings confidence to the Tigers
TAMPA, Fla. (WAKA) – Action 8 Lace Up Sports is in Tampa, Florida, for SEC Media Days, where new Auburn head coach Alex Golesh is bringing confidence to the Tigers, who haven’t had a winning season since 2020.
Last year, Auburn went 5-7 and 2-6 in the SEC, prompting the firing of coach Hugh Freeze. Golesh was hired from South Florida and is bringing quarterback Byrum Brown with him.
Action 8 Sports Analyst John Longshore says he’s impressed with Golesh’s confidence and expects Brown to be a top five quarterback in the SEC.
