Man injured after Tuesday afternoon shooting in Montgomery
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA Action 8) – Montgomery Police are investigating after a man was seriously injured in a shooting Tuesday afternoon.
MPD says officers responded to the 5700 block of Villas Lane in reference to a subject shot. There, officers made contact with an adult male who sustained life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
Police are still investigating the motive behind the shooting.
