Man killed in Lee County crash
LEE COUNTY, Ala. (WAKA) – A man has been killed in a two-vehicle crash in Lee County.
Alabama State Troopers say 43-year-old Jimmy Salters was driving a car that collided head-on with an SUV driven by 52-year-old Kacie Smith of Auburn. Salters died at the scene
Smith was injured and taken to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery for treatment.
The wreck happened just after 6:30PM last night on Lee County Road 188 near Lee County Road 78, about 10 miles west of Auburn.
