Brantwood Children’s Home held its 5th annual love run.
About 100 racers came out to make the trek through downtown Montgomery.
Brantwood is about to celebrate it’s 100th anniversary.
The home is a place for children going through the foster system who were typically abused or neglected.
There’s space for 36 children, and there’s currently a waiting list to get in.
Half of the funding comes from the state, but it takes 7,000 dollars a month just to feed all of the children.
Brantwood helps these kids to grow up and be independent and self sufficient adults.
