Frey Medical Management Secures 4 Million Dollar Grant

Regional Medical Center and Crenshaw Community Hospital are introducing a relatively new system of Healthcare that allows each facility to better care for patients.
Frey Medical Management has been awarded 4.17 million to improve the level of Healthcare across two rural hospitals
The grant, awarded by the state of Alabama, bridges the gap of wellness by allowing facilities to establish fully operational Intensive Care units and upgrade equipment. The implementation of Physician to Physician Telehealth allows doctors to communicate with specialists during emergency situations. This gives rural physicians an opportunity to obtain secondary assistance which otherwise may not be readily available in-house.
“If you got something that may be beyond the bandwidth of what we’re capable to do we can get expertise and use the telemedicine piece for that, whether it’s for stabilization or where to send this patient”. Says owner Michael Frey. “We want to keep as many as we can obviously but we also want to do what is best for the patient,” he continues.
Funds for usage are split between Regional Medical Center and Crenshaw Community Hospital
