Body Identified in Elmore Co.

A body found in a wooded area in Elmore county is identified as a missing woman. 

Millbrook police chief P. K. Johnson says it is 49-year-old Anita Washington. Police have charged her son, Sedrick Clayton, with murder.  

Washington was reported missing last Wednesday.

Authorities arrested Clayton and discovered the body this weekend.

Clayton is being held in the Elmore county jail under 250 thousand dollars bond.
