Selma-Dallas Co. Gearing Up for Annual Fall Tourism Season

From the West Alabama Newsroom–   Selma and Dallas County is gearing up for the area’s annual fall tourism season.

The fall tourism season is big business — and one of the area’s busiest times of the year.

Over a six week period — Selma and Dallas County will host about a half dozen events and outdoor festivals that attract thousands of people to the area each year.

“I think the fall tourism season is crucial for the economy because we depend a lot of the income that comes from tourists visiting our community,” said Selma-Dallas Co. Tourism Director Ashley Mason.
