Rock thrown from overpass hits car
A family returning from vacation on the Alabama coast says that someone threw a rock through their window on I-85.
Ron Cunningham was driving with his wife and their 5-year-old granddaughter when the rock smashed their back window.
“We heard what we thought was an explosion,” he explained.
His granddaughter was sitting right beside the window that was smashed.
Cunningham has a message for the person who is responsible.
“After probably beating them,” he explained, “to a pulse for scaring my granddaughter, I’d tell them don’t do it again. But you know it’s kids and kids do stupid stuff.”
The incident is under investigation by the Montgomery Police Department.
