Montgomery Job Corp Students Demonstrate Peace
Hundreds of students from the Montgomery Job Corp marched part of International Day of Peace.
Students marched from Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church to the steps of the Capitol. Coordinators say it’s another way to experess peace after violent protests in North Carolina. Students say this march comes at a critical time.
“As a nation, we’re all supposed to come together and and so you don’t want to be out here doing just anything you know. The hatred-It’s just not worth it,” says student Kelsey Coleman
The Montgomery Job Corp includes also students from Dothan, Mobile, and Birmingham
