Heating Up to Start the Week

It was another nice fall day across the river region. Temperatures topped out in the mid 80s with mostly clear skies. We will keep skies mostly clear overnight tonight, with overnight lows in the middle to upper 50s. Tomorrow will be a bit warmer than the last several have been. We should top out at around 90 in Montgomery. Skies will still be mostly clear, so we will have plenty of sunshine to start off the week. We will top out near 90 on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. Rain chances look very limited this week, but there is a slight chance we could see a shower or two across the area towards the end of the week, when a nose of cooler air makes a run at the river region from the east. Thanks to that cooler air wedge moving in, it looks like we will be back into the mid 80s for high temperatures to end the week.

Overnight lows will return to the lower 60s for much of the week. In the next 8 days, rain chances will be very minimal, adding to minor to severe drought conditions already being felt across the river region. Another cold front potentially moves through the area next weekend, dropping us back down to more seasonable temperatures through the end of the forecast period.
