Millbrook Police Make an Arrest in Attempted Burglary Case

 Millbrook police have made an arrest in connection with an attempted burglary.

22-year-old Emmanuel  McCloud of Montgomery was arrested after police say he broke into a home on Gardenia Road Monday morning.

Police say the homeowner walked in and caught McCloud in the act. They say when he ran out the back door, she pulled out her gun and fired at him.  McCloud was able to escape but was later caught a few miles from the scene.

McCloud is currently in the Elmore County Jail with no bond.
