New Life Baptist Church Gives Back for Thanksgiving
People at Montgomery’s New Life Baptist Church are giving back to those in need for Thanksgiving in a big way.
For the past 12 years Jay Maze has been giving Thanksgiving boxes to the community. His heart to give has spread throughout the community since then. Encouraging others to unite with him. The boxes contain everything a family may need for Thanksgiving dinner.
Today Maze and several volunteers gave out boxes at New Life Baptist Church.
“I feel like if we can come together and help the youth and improve the community at the same time as men and as a church and as a community we can make a difference,” says Jay Maze.
Thanksgiving boxes at New Life were made possible by donations from people in the community and volunteers involved.
